One of the key ideas in Liberty missions is that of Long Term Strategic Engagement, or LTSE. LTSE is the idea that disciples are not made in one trip or during an event. It takes time to see disciples grow and mature. Therefore we have many ministry teams that work long term to impact individual lives, communities, and the world.
We hope that you as an individual will consider joining one of these teams or lead your family or small group to be involved with one of their trips or events.
“Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.” Ephesians 6:18

Team Name: North Africa Team
Purpose of team: In 1999 Liberty adopted an unreached people group in North Africa. The North Africa team exists to lead our church into reaching this people group with the gospel. Our task is completed when there is a self-sustaining church planting movement among our people group.

Team Name: Northwest Africa Team
Purpose of team: This team exists to help see churches planted among one of our partners working in NW Africa.

Team Name: Middle East Team
Purpose of team: We have a partnership in the Middle East seeking to reach a specific group of people. This team works with our field personnel to plant churches among our selected people in the Middle East.

Purpose of team: Liberty made the commitment 8 years ago to work among the Navajo people around Gallup New Mexico.

Team Name: Mission Daystar
Purpose of team: Daystar began 20 years ago as a ministry that provides household items to those in need and sharing the gospel in the process. Daystar also has outreach ministries to provide Thanksgiving food, school supplies and Christmas gifts, all in the name of Jesus.
Team Leader: Carolyn Fedder
Opportunities: Each time Daystar is open there are need volunteers for people who do intake of clients, work in the warehouse, load furniture, counsel people, organize and general labor.

Team Name: Disaster Relief
Purpose of team: Disaster relief provides a wide range of services. In the event of a disaster such as a storm, flood, or other event, DR does clean up, feeds people, clears trees, cleans out homes, does damage assessments and more.
Team Leader: Terry Price
Opportunities: Each person on this team must go through certification. Once you have completed certification training, each person is qualified to work on one of the DR projects. Note: In most disasters only those who are certified are allowed to enter and assist in the damage zone.

Team Name: Prison Ministry
Purpose of team: This team seeks to minister to and share the gospel to those that are incarcerated.
Team Leaders: Allan and Anne Marillier
Opportunities: Each month materials are sent out to prisons around the country. There is also opportunity to be a part of the bible studies conducted in the jail each week.

Team Name: ESL
Purpose of team: Over 40% of the world’s leaders attend college here in America. 85% of them never get inside an American home. The goal of this team is to lead Liberty in reaching those internationals that God is bringing to America. Our goal is to see many of them have the chance to hear about Jesus, something they may never have the chance to do in their own country.

Opportunities: ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, hosting internationals and more.
